Ceramic Coatings are a form of surface protection that provide fantastic chemical protection that regular waxes and sealants simply cant. A ceramic coating is a chemical polymer solution that bonds with your clear coat on a molecular level to form a thin "shield" over your vehicles paint. This bonding process is what allows a ceramic coating to last much longer than a wax that just sits on top of your paint until it wears out. A ceramic coatings main benefit will always be the fact that its incredibly high chemical resistance will protect your vehicles clear coat from being damaged by highly acidic substances such as bird poo, bug guts, and tree sap.
You may be asking yourself "What's Paint Correction" and wondering if your vehicle even needs it. Even with brand new vehicles, there is most likely swirls and other small imperfections on the paint. These can be a real eyesore especially on darker colored vehicles. To remove these scratches and swirl marks we use a 2 stage method of compounding and polishing. The compounding stage is when we are shaving down the clear coat to leave a perfectly smooth surface free of swirls. After compounding, the paint will appear slightly hazy. We then polish the paint to bring out the gloss and further perfect the paint.
